Copero · October 18, 2026 · v1.0
Start with a role you want to learn
Copero puts you in charge of one footballer, rather than a whole club. Your player starts at sixteen. Choose a name, nationality, preferred foot, shirt number, and one of ten positions. You do not need to register, buy a pack, or download an app.
Position is the most important setup choice. A striker’s rating values shooting much more than defending. A central midfielder relies on passing, and a goalkeeper uses defending and physical ability as simplified proxies for goalkeeping skills. Nationality, shirt number, and preferred foot personalise the career; they do not grant hidden performance bonuses.
Give your starting attributes a purpose
You can allocate up to six bonus points, with at most four added to one attribute. These are optional. Open “Make it yours” in the player form to inspect how your position and attributes affect your starting OVR.
A specialist allocation raises your strongest tools. A broader allocation can support a different position later. Neither guarantees a trophy, because club competition, fitness, coaching trust, and the season’s variation also affect results.
Choose opportunity, facilities, or a compromise
Harbor Athletic offers the most starting opportunity and weaker facilities. Capital Academy has excellent training resources but much stronger competition for places. Riverside Union sits between them. All three clubs are fictional.
The highest salary is not automatically the best development route. Fewer appearances can limit your chance to contribute, while the wrong training load can leave even a talented player unavailable. Start with the club whose trade-off you understand.
Read the season before changing the plan
After a season, review appearances, goals, assists, fitness, morale, and the summary. A low number of goals means something different for a centre back than for a striker. The game also records clean sheets for defensive roles.
Look for a cause before changing everything. A fit player with few appearances may face strong club competition. A tired player may benefit from recovery training. Low trust makes a demand for minutes riskier. A transfer is available only when the current career qualifies for an offer.
Finish a career and try another route
You can retire after one completed season, or keep playing until age thirty-eight. Retirement shows your totals, timeline, rating curve, and a five-part legacy score. Download the result card as an image if you want to keep or share the story.
The save is stored in this browser. Clearing site storage removes it, and another device cannot open it through a public result link. To compare strategies, keep the same player setup and career seed, then change one decision at a time.
